The Forest Stewardship Council or "FSC" |

|
Forest Stewardship Council ( FSC) is an international, independent, not governmental and non-profit organization. Based in 1993 by forest owners, companies of the wood industry, the social groups and the associations of environmental protection, to promote all over the world a responsible forest management.
Currently, the FSC is the only label forest certification, which allows the consumer to effectively combat deforestation and irresponsible practices of some industrial / political leaders in some regions of the globe.
The FSC encourages the management responsible for forests by:
 The certification of forests following a principal series and strict criteria.
The labellisation of the wood resulting from these forests.
The FSC is a high quality sign. The certificate FSC assures you that a forest is managed in a responsible way.
